Volunteer

Volunteering for an event is a great way to meet other people with the same interests as you. You will also gain skills and experiences that can help with your occupational objectives.

We need volunteers to work in many different areas; choose the volunteer job that most interests you or that you are best qualified for. Our volunteer organizers will do their best to place you in your chosen area (in every position you may also be assigned tasks by race officials, and we also ask that you cheer on the athletes as they go past!)

All volunteers should expect to be at the event from 7am until 3pm. Volunteers will receive a Blitz touque to be worn on the day of the event, be entered into all door prizes, and be fed at the end of the day.

RELEASE, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND CONSENT in consideration of The Blitz Events permitting me to volunteer at the event, I hereby release myself and my heirs, assigns, guardians, administrators and executors and from all liability and waive any and all claims for damages (whether for personal injury, death, illness, property damage and/or property loss), including claims for negligence, which I may have as a result of my volunteering for this event, against the following: The Blitz events and its directors, employees and contractors; Inspiration inc. and its directors, employees and contractors; race organizers; event volunteers; event sponsors; Kananaskis; Transportation Canada and other participants in this event. I consent to the use of personal information contained in this volunteer form for the purpose of soliciting my participation in, or volunteering at, future Blitz events. I also consent to the use of any of my name and photos of me from the event in any publicity associated with the event and in any form of promotional material for the Blitz Events.

IN SIGNING THIS VOLUNTEER FORM, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND CONSENT IN ITS ENTIRETY, THAT I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS, AND THAT I AM SIGNING VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT DURESS OR UNDUE INFLUENCE FROM ANYONE.
