Congratulations to all of the racers at the final event of the year for the MEC Road Race Series. We always love to see everyone out at these events full of enthusiasm. The runners faced harsh conditions today but everyone still finished with fantastic times. Congratulations again and a job well done to all!

Thank you to all of the participants who braved the snow to be with us today for the MEC Trail Race Series FOUR. Despite the chills, we were surrounded by lovely scenes of the clouds hugging the mountains. Congratulations to all of our top finishers. We look forward to seeing you all again through-out October's events!

It wasn't the beautiful fall day we hoped for, but it wasn't THAT cold either. 104 tough soles came out to participate in the 10th (and last) annual duathlon. Those who didn't let the cool weather or bears deter them, were rewarded with delicious desserts and yummy BBQ as usual.

It was a cool day for the annual Red Deer Harvest Fun Run but had a great turn out with 360 participants running or walking 3km or 8km. We definitely saw some fast times, familiar faces and lots of smiles. Congrats to all finishers.

A great start to September with the perfect weather to go on a Saturday run. We saw it all with overcast in the morning to nothing but sun and blue skies by the afternoon. Congratulations to everyone who came out to share an awesome day with us! 

It was take two of the MEC Calgary Trail Race THREE since June's original date was cancelled due to rain storm.  But today's weather wasn't picture perfect either... super windy and smoky conditions added extra challenge for the 112 runners tackling the 5k or 10k trails through Nose Hill Park. Congrats to all finishers!

A beautiful sunny day by Fort Calgary, with scenic views of both the Bow and Elbow Rivers during the MEC Calgary Road Race FIVE event. Patchy showers didn't slow these champs down! The day started off with the blistering 2k children who set a scorching pace that the other competitors had to try to follow up. Ross Leclair was the leading man in the 5k finishing with a stellar 18:32 time, tops on the ladies side was Debbie Buhlers with a 20:18. The 10k'ers were next and were led by Franck Delbecq 38:28, and Paige Beselt 44:58. Last but not least Halden Borglum scorched the course with a sub-hour 15k time of 59:15, and Melanie Labonte led the ladies with a 1:07:43. Congratulations to all 791 of our competitors, there were cheering families and couples crossing the line arms linked, children and parents sprinting to photo finishes, and generally a lot of fun and spirited competition.
